The McLaren MP4/7 was McLaren's challenger for the 1992 Formula One World Championship and marked the final season of the highly successful Honda-McLaren partnership. Designed by Neil Oatley and powered by Honda's naturally aspirated RA122E/B V12 engine, the MP4/7 combined advanced electronic driver aids, including semi-automatic transmission and active suspension development, with exceptional performance. Driven by Ayrton Senna and Gerhard Berger, the car secured five Grand Prix victories during the season and helped McLaren finish second in the Constructors' Championship. Although unable to match the dominant Williams FW14B, the MP4/7 remains an important chapter in McLaren's history and one of the last great V12-powered Formula One cars.
